Information we collect

ClipSpaceAI is designed to collect as little information as possible. The app does not require a user account and does not intentionally collect clipboard content from your Mac for remote processing or developer analytics.

Clipboard data

ClipSpaceAI accesses clipboard content to provide clipboard history, search, smart clip detection, previews, pinning, reuse, and AI actions where available.

Clipboard history is stored locally on your Mac. Locally stored data may include copied text, rich text, images, file or image payload metadata, source app details when available, creation date, pin state, category, title, tags, sensitive-content state, and usage metadata.

Sensitive-looking content

Sensitive-looking content is detected locally and can be hidden or excluded from AI actions. Examples include token-like text, password-like text, one-time codes, private keys, payment-card-like numbers, and content copied from selected sensitive apps.

When a clip is marked sensitive, ClipSpaceAI can mask it in the list and block AI actions for that clip.

AI actions

AI actions use Apple on-device models where available. Availability depends on macOS version, device support, region, Apple Intelligence settings, and model readiness.

If Apple on-device AI is unavailable, ClipSpaceAI shows a clean fallback message and does not silently switch to a cloud AI provider. ClipSpaceAI does not use OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or other cloud AI APIs as app features. No cloud AI API keys are required.

Local storage

Your clipboard history, preferences, pinned clips, and related app data are stored locally on your device. You can remove this information by clearing your history or deleting the app and its data.

Network access

ClipSpaceAI does not require cloud AI services to process clipboard actions. Links in the app or website, such as Privacy, Terms, and Support, may open external pages in your browser.

User controls

You can control clipboard recording, history limits, visible items, appearance, launch behavior, sensitive-content behavior, app exclusions, and clearing clipboard history from Settings where supported.

Children's privacy

ClipSpaceAI is a developer productivity utility and is not designed for children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new update date.
